DEVELOPING INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE THROUGH CONTENT-BASED INSTRUCTION  (ABSTRACT)

The rapid rate of world globalization underscores the need for the development of intercultural communicative competence (ICC). The presenter will introduce a content-based instruction (CBI) course which features three experiential projects designed to cultivate ICC in first-year international students bostered by the necessary English language support to faciliate their educational goals.
